Job Purpose:
The Store Assistant supports the store operations by managing inventory, ensuring the accurate recording of stock, and assisting in the smooth distribution of materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the daily operations of the store, including receiving, storing, and issuing materials.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, stock movements, and discrepancies.
- Ensure that all materials are properly labeled and stored in designated locations.
- Conduct regular stock checks and report any shortages or discrepancies.
- Assist in preparing and processing requisitions and purchase orders.
- Collaborate with the procurement and operations teams to ensure the timely availability of materials.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management software.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the facility management industry, is a plus.
