Job Purpose:
The QHSE Engineer is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining quality, health, safety, and environmental (QHSE) systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement QHSE policies, procedures, and systems in accordance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with QHSE standards and identify areas for improvement.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and develop corrective and preventive action plans.
- Provide QHSE training and awareness programs for employees to promote a culture of safety and quality.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to QHSE activities and performance.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure QHSE standards are integrated into all operations and projects.
- Monitor and report on QHSE performance, and recommend initiatives for continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Professional certifications in QHSE (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, ISO lead auditor).
- Strong knowledge of QHSE regulations and industry standards.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a QHSE role, preferably in the facility management industry.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Local nationality preferred “Experience not mandatory for local nationality”.
